About our founder
Blackboard Studio was founded by Blake Uhing, a construction optimist and real estate professional with over a decade of hands-on experience across ownership, general contracting, and owner's representation.
He's led complex development and construction projects across New York City, building a track record for anticipating problems before they hit the field and implementing solutions at every level of a project, the kind of instinct that only comes from having sat on every side of the table.
He also spent years teaching Real Estate Finance and Development at Creighton University, shaping how the next generation of developers and builders think optimistically about the industry.
